Consumer Safety

Uniline puts your safety first

Safety is paramount in every product Uniline manufactures.

As we all know babies, toddlers and children are constantly developing their investigative skills. This can sometimes lead to hazardous situations.

Current Australian legislation requires safety devices to be installed on all window coverings that pose a risk to children. All Uniline products comply with this legislation to help keep your child safe.

For expert tips on keeping your child safe around blind and curtain cords, please read the ACCC safety guidelines below. For more information, please visit the following Government website: http://www.productsafety.gov.au/content/index.phtml/itemId/981424/fromItemId/974977

Before raising the blinds, always ensure that the slats are titled fully open and, where fitted, bottom rail retaining brackets are released. When opening the window behind the blind, always raise the blind first. Pushing your hand through the slats only causes unnecessary damage to the slats.
